Sandra Alloush

Sandra Alloush is an international award-winning Syrian refugee journalist, documentary filmmaker, and social entrepreneur based in France. With over 17 years of experience in broadcast media, she has worked with prominent international channels, producing impactful news reports and documentaries on migration, asylum, and human rights. Her work sheds light on the realities of displaced communities, amplifying their voices and advocating for policy changes that promote social justice and inclusion. Sandra’s entrepreneurial spirit drives her to create sustainable solutions for social change. She is currently leading efforts to establish an independent Syrian TV channel, aiming to foster democracy, human rights, and progressive dialogue in Syria. The project, structured in two phases, includes launching a studio in France with on-the-ground reporting from Syria, followed by a second studio in Damascus. With hybrid streaming via satellite and online platforms, this initiative seeks to provide an independent media platform free from political influence, ensuring that the voices of Syrians are represented fairly.
